Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, who is an actor, director, producer, educator, playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, as is her mother, a Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother perform in play rehearsals. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. Anna moved to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They got engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couple list.
